Gasoline prices in Japan have climbed for the third straight week due to the rising cost of crude oil.
Officials at the Oil Information Center say the average retail price of gasoline was 139.3 yen, or one dollar and 16 cents, per liter on Monday. That's up 1.4 yen from a week ago.
